Connect ChatGPT to AEOMCP

ChatGPT: paste the AEOMCP MCP URL into its connector settings and sign in — no token — then verify the setup with one prompt.

ChatGPT connects with one URL and a sign-in as a custom MCP plugin — no token to copy.

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open chatgpt.com/plugins. It needs ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, Edu or Pro; on Business, a workspace admin adds it.
  2. Click + → Add custom MCP server, name it AEOMCP, paste this URL: https://mcp.aeomcp.ai/mcp, and choose OAuth.
  3. Sign in with your AEOMCP account and click Allow, then tick "I understand and want to continue" → Create. In any chat, type @AEOMCP to use it.

Install the skills

ChatGPT has no skills folder. Copy the prompts in this guide directly into chat instead of installing a skills bundle.

Downloading is not installing. The bundle only takes effect once its files are extracted to the path above (or, for ChatGPT, once its prompts are actually used) — downloading the zip by itself does nothing.

Test the skill

Using only the AEOMCP tools get_account_context, list_workspaces, get_onboarding_status and get_client_report, tell me which brand workspaces I can access and whether a client report is ready for any of them. Do not call any other tool.

Troubleshooting

  • Sign-in window never returns / connector shows an error: remove the connector and add it again with the exact URL above (including /mcp).
  • Sign-in succeeds but the connector keeps asking you to sign in again: your AEOMCP account has no workspace access yet — ask an organization owner to add you.
  • You belong to more than one organization: a sign-in connects your oldest membership only. To reach another organization, use a personal access token with Claude Code or Codex.
